Scott & York Intellectual Property Law is organised into several practice groups In order to effectively serve the needs of different technology sectors and legal areas.
The groups frequently work together providing an integrated service across the whole range of your Intellectual Property requirements thereby affording you the confidence that your personal point of contact within the firm is backed by a team of experienced and well qualified people ready to carry out your instructions.
Three of the groups are broadly based technology groups – Computers & Electronics, Engineering & Design and Chemical & Life Sciences – dealing with Patent, Design and Copyright matters within those areas.
In addition to these technology groups we have a full service Trade Marks and Branding team. This group can, of course, work on standalone, pure branding projects. But forming part of a larger practice of IP lawyers of differing specialisms allows the group to be equally adept at offering an holisitc IP approach combining all facets of IP law including Design and Patents as appropriate.
All of these groups are supplemented by two cross-group teams specialising in supporting New Ventures and providing IP related legal support for clients.
To give an insight into our work we have put together some case studies and you can see some of our recent filings here.
